Fernando Viciconte will be releasing a new single titled Do You Remember on Friday 6th November. Born in Argentina and rooted in Portland, Oregon, his sound moves between Americana, roots-rock, Latin-folk, and alt-country. The single is taken from his album THE LUCKY HOUSE, due for release on January 8, 2027, on his own label, Domingo Records. Lonesome Highway has previewed the album and we are mightily impressed. In the meantime, check out the single for a taster of what to expect.
"Fernando Viciconte is a celestial being with earthly concerns. He inhabits the space between lovers, between cultures, between right and wrong. He has few answers but all the right questions, namely, what does it mean to be alive? The Lucky House might be his best album yet, stubborn but free, wonderfully produced by his old friend Luther Russell." Dan Stuart of Green on Red
"Fernando Viciconte is a true Northwest legend who proves once again on The Lucky House why he is one of the best singer-songwriters working today. It's my favourite record of the year so far." Willy Vlautin
"There's a good chance that if you don't live in Portland, Oregon, you have never heard of Fernando Viciconte and that's too bad, because he stands in his own class as a singer and songwriter. This new collection of songs, Leave the Radio On, just might be the best thing he has ever done. Expect Americana, expect psychedelia, expect to be surprised." Peter Buck
